Ingredients:
- 1 chai tea bag
- 2 tbsp La Vida Vegan Almond
- 360 ml plant-based milk
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla paste
- ⅛ tsp ground cardamom
- ⅛ tsp ground cinnamon
- ⅛ tsp ground ginger
- ⅛ tsp ground cloves
Optional toppings:
- Plant-based whipped cream
- Dried cranberries
- Coconut flakes
- Cinnamon stick, star anise, or chocolate shavings
Method:
- Heat the plant-based milk in a small saucepan until just below boiling. Remove from the heat, add the chai tea bag, and let steep for 10–15 minutes, depending on desired strength. Remove the tea bag.
- Add the cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla paste, spices, and La Vida Vegan Almond to the warm chai-infused milk.
- Return the pan to low heat and whisk until smooth and creamy. Do not let the mixture boil.
- Pour into mugs and garnish as desired with plant-based whipped cream, dried cranberries, and a sprinkle of coconut for a festive cranberry–coconut touch.
Serve warm and enjoy this spiced, creamy winter drink.
