Chocolate Swirl Pastry


Ingredients:
6 servings

  • 1 pack of cinnamon roll dough
  • 1 orange dye
  • 1 jar La Vida Vegan Chocolate spread
  • 150 g icing sugar





The instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Grease a muffin tin for at least 6 muffins.
  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle.
  4. Put some colouring in a bowl and take a brush. Paint one side of the dough with the colouring.
  5. Turn the dough over and brush with the chocolate spread.
  6. Roll up the dough again and cut into 5 to 6 slices. Place the slices in the baking tin.
  7. Bake the Chocolate Swirl Pastries for about 15 minutes.
  8. Meanwhile, make the icing. Mix a tablespoon of water with 8 drops of food colouring. Add to the icing sugar until liquid icing forms.
  9. Allow the pastries to cool. Garnish with the icing and serve.
