Ingredients:
- 4 thick slices of white bread (preferably milk bread or brioche)
- 4 tbsp La Vida Vegan White Coconut Paste
- 2 tsp Whipfix (optional, for extra firmness)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 200 ml vegetable whipping cream
- 4 strawberries
- 1 orange
- 1 kiwi
* For 2 servings
The instructions:
- Whip the vegetable whipping cream with the sugar (and optional Klopfix) firmly.
- Put the whipped cream in the refrigerator until use.
- Wash the fruit and cut the peel off the orange and kiwi.
- Cut the strawberries, orange and kiwi into chunks.
- Take a slice of white bread and spread a thick layer of La Vida Vegan White Coconut Paste on it.
- Then apply a thick layer of whipped cream.
- Place the pieces of fruit neatly on top of the whipped cream, in a nice pattern. Make sure they match for a visually appealing result.
- Cover the fruit with another layer of whipped cream.
- Place the second slice of white bread on top and press lightly.
- Carefully cut the sandwich in half or into triangles.
- Make sure to cut straight so that the fruit pattern is clearly visible.
- Serve immediately and enjoy this beautiful and tasty Japanese treat!
Tip: Use seasonal fruit or your favorite combinations such as grapes, mango or blueberries. This recipe can be adapted to taste!
