Japanese Fruit Sando


Ingredients:

  • 4 thick slices of white bread (preferably milk bread or brioche)
  • 4 tbsp La Vida Vegan White Coconut Paste
  • 2 tsp Whipfix (optional, for extra firmness)
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 200 ml vegetable whipping cream
  • 4 strawberries
  • 1 orange
  • 1 kiwi

    * For 2 servings





The instructions:

  1. Whip the vegetable whipping cream with the sugar (and optional Klopfix) firmly.
  2. Put the whipped cream in the refrigerator until use.
  3. Wash the fruit and cut the peel off the orange and kiwi.
  4. Cut the strawberries, orange and kiwi into chunks.
  5. Take a slice of white bread and spread a thick layer of La Vida Vegan White Coconut Paste on it.
  6. Then apply a thick layer of whipped cream.
  7. Place the pieces of fruit neatly on top of the whipped cream, in a nice pattern. Make sure they match for a visually appealing result.
  8. Cover the fruit with another layer of whipped cream.
  9. Place the second slice of white bread on top and press lightly.
  10. Carefully cut the sandwich in half or into triangles.
  11. Make sure to cut straight so that the fruit pattern is clearly visible.
  12. Serve immediately and enjoy this beautiful and tasty Japanese treat!

Tip: Use seasonal fruit or your favorite combinations such as grapes, mango or blueberries. This recipe can be adapted to taste!
