Pretty pink drink


Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons La Vida Vegan White Hazelnut Spread
  • 250 ml plant-based milk (e.g., oat, almond, or soy milk)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 50 g white chocolate (vegan)
  • 120 ml strawberry puree (fresh or defrosted frozen strawberries)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon red food colouring (optional, for a more vibrant pink colour)
  • 2 strawberries (for garnish)
  • Vegan whipped cream (for topping)

The instructions:

  1. If using fresh or frozen strawberries, blend them into a smooth puree. You can heat them in a pan beforehand to make blending easier.
  2. Heat the plant-based milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Do not let it boil.
  3. Add the La Vida Vegan White Hazelnut Spread and sugar, stirring until fully dissolved.
  4. Stir in the white chocolate and continue mixing until completely melted.
  5. Add the strawberry puree and vanilla extract to the warm mixture.
  6. For a more vibrant pink colour, add a few drops of red food colouring and mix well.
  7. Pour the warm strawberry hot chocolate into a mug.
  8. Top with a generous dollop of vegan whipped cream and garnish with a strawberry on top.
