Preparation time: 10 minutes + 22 minutes baking time
Ingredients:
- 80 g rolled oats
- 1 ripe banana (mashed)
- 150 ml plant-based milk (e.g., oat or almond drink)
- 2 tbsp La Vida Vegan hazelnut spread
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- 80 g chocolate chips
- 1 vegan egg substitute or 2 tsp chia seeds + 6 tsp plant-based milk (for binding)
Topping:
- Banana slices
- Extra swirl of La Vida Vegan hazelnut spread
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
- In a bowl, mix the mashed banana, plant-based milk, (chia) egg, and La Vida Vegan hazelnut spread until smooth.
- Add the oats, baking powder, and cinnamon, and stir until well combined.
- Pour the batter into greased small baking dishes.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes until firm and golden brown.
- Add the chocolate chips halfway through baking.
- Remove from the oven once baked through and let cool slightly.
- Optionally, top with banana slices and a swirl of hazelnut spread.
