Blue Chocolate Moon Milk

For two servings

2 tbsp La Vida Vegan white coconut paste
500 ml almond milk
2 tsp maple syrup
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of cardamom
Pinch of nutmeg
Pinch of sea salt

Blue Spirulina powder (optional)
Rose petals (optional)
Lavender (optional)

The instructions

  1. Heat the almond milk in a small saucepan over low heat. Don’t overheat it; you just want to heat it, not boil it.
  2. Add the La Vida Vegan white coconut paste, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla extract, sea salt and any additional spices to the milk.
  3. Add the blue spirulina powder, if desired.
  4. Stir the ingredients well until the chocolate spread is completely dissolved and all the flavors are well blended.
  5. Taste the moon milk and if necessary, add more sweetener to taste.
  6. Lightly whisk the moon milk so that you get some foam. Pour the moon milk into two cups and garnish with rose petals and lavender if desired.

    Serve warm and enjoy!
